We're Back!!

This month long hiatus is over now that I'm back off holiday... if that's what you'd even call it!

I was suppose to be going on this awesome cruise, which I paid £14K for. I went to Portsmouth and on the morning we were suppose to be leaving I couldn't get out of bed - I had food poisoning. So, I couldn't go on the cruise, wasn't allowed a refund and had to pay £70 a night for 27 nights because I was too ill was too get back home.

I saved up for 4 years to go on this cruise so now I am well and truly skint!

Isn't life just great sometimes.

HOLIDAY!!

Hey guys, yep the title is correct. I am going on holiday tomorrow (30th March) and I'll be away for the entire month of April! Woo-hoo!
I am going on a cruise and unfortunately won't have any real internet connection.

This means that I won't be able to supply you with news or anything else on our blog, twitter or Facebook page.
I will be back on the 1st of May so will make sure to catch up on everything then.

I guess I'll speak to you guys then, have fun at home/school! :P

p.s. if you follow us on twitter during this time, obviously I won't be able to follow back - however, I will make sure this is the first thing I do when I get back.

Pro Tired of Being Asked to Freestyle

According to Press Party, Pro has revealed that he is tired of being asked to freestyle when doing tv and radio interviews.
When asked what he would do to someone who challenged him to a rap battle on the street, by Q magazine, he said "I'd politely tell them to f**k off, every time I do an interview they're like 'you used to freestyle... so go on then'"
He added "I'm not a monkey with a box full of 50ps. If you saw Nigel Mansell you wouldn't say give us a quick lap. It's a bit of a wind up."

Will Pro Be Collaborating with Slipknot?

Bit of a strange collab, I know, but Pro does seem keen on the idea.

He told The Sun that he met Sid Wilson from the band during his Australian tour, with Jessie J, this year.
He revealed: "Collaborations come up naturally. I don't try to force anything. We met Sid Wilson, the DJ from Slipknot, out here. He told me he was a big fan. How mental is that? So we were talking and he's going to send some stuff over."

Looking forward to it?

Pro Collaborating with Jessie J? And Another with Emeli?

Pro has said in an interview that he will be doing more songs with Emeli Sande, who appeared on his previous tracks 'Kids That Love to Dance' and their number one hit 'Read All About It'.

'I've been starting on some new songs with Emeli Sande. She's amazing to work with,' the London hip-hop star told The Sun.
'We've already started on a couple more bits for my next album which I want out next March or April.'

'I'm going to do a writing session with Justin Parker, who wrote Video Games, Born To Die and a few album tracks with Lana Del Rey,' he said.

Pro has also hinted at a new collaboration with tour mate Jessie J.
It hasn't been confirmed that they will be doing anything but Jessie wrote to Pro on twitter saying "Gonna miss you SO MUCH! Thank you for such a memorable epic happy tour."
Pro replied by saying "Likewise. However something tells me it won't be long before team green and 'jessage' are reunited :) X."

What could he mean?

WANTED: Your Fan Photos

So, our current provider for the site (the other pages above) has decided that it doesn't want to let anyone create/edit their websites anymore, so I've had to find a new provider.
Luckily, I have found a new one and it will be up and running very soon.
However, while we're still constructing it I would like to let you all know that on the Pictures page we will be sorting a part for fan photos. So, if you guys have any pictures of yourself and Professor Green (or Example, Rizzle Kicks & Ed Sheeran) we would be very happy if you could send them to us and we will put them on the site. We can also put your twitter/Facebook page on there as well so people know who you are (only if you want us to).

If you have any of these pictures please contact us, either on Twitter or Facebook. Or email us at little-bird@live.co.uk

"Sheep Brains Taste of Nothing"

Pro did an interview with The Gaurdian in which he talks about his hatred of cheese and how he thinks sheep brains taste.

My first memory of food is my nan – my official guardian – spreading lard in an oven tray. Just thinking about it makes me feel ill.

I can't remember any cooking done by my father. I associate him with McDonald's, which says a lot. He introduced me to the woman he ended up marrying at McDonald's in Hackney. He took me for a Big Mac and sprung it on me.

I stopped going to school at 13, because I was a shit and my nan saw how I was affected by my relationship with my father and sympathised. If I came in for lunch I'd have nan's soup. Nan wasn't into seasonings, and a lot of the food I grew up on was bland and frozen, but I discovered tastier things from friends later.

Cheese has my least favourite food smell. Melted cheese repulses me. My manager, as a joke, included a selection of continental cheeses on my rider, so I'd come in the dressing room and it'd stink of blue, green and other horrible coloured cheeses. It really wound me up and I had them removed in a huff.

I moved out of home and in with my then girlfriend, Naokr, who was half-Italian, half-Japanese and the best cook I've known. Once she had me chop chillies and afterwards, without washing my hands, I went to the toilet and an interesting penile sensation graduated to an extremely painful one. With my trousers and boxers on the floor I begged: "Get me a cold flannel". It took Naokr a long time though, as she was on the floor laughing.

I took 12 of my closest friends to Ibiza last year and we got a villa with a massive double oven and a barbecue outside. I've never been part of a big family – and that's what it felt like. We only left the villa to go to the beach or to the food shop, and we took turns making meals, morning, noon and night. I did my chicken escalope. We ate sheep brains, from the butchers. Rather strange, brains – they didn't really taste of anything.

I've been fed intravenously, but it wasn't when I got stabbed in the neck [at a nightclub in 2009]. They thought I had colitis – the pain was horrific – but it turned out to be campylobacter, which is severe as salmonella and makes you feel like you never want food again. I was in hospital for five days and lost a stone.

I always ate on the sofa or on the floor as a kid. Nowadays if I cook I always eat at the table, I'll never eat in the living room or bedroom.

My dream dinner guests would be Hitler, Gandhi, Thatcher and Frankie Boyle.

DJ Fresh Collaboration

The producer and DJ is working on a song with Pro, which he says has the potential to become a rap-rock classic.
He said: ''At the moment it has me singing the whole song, but we're going to get a band to re-sing those parts, it's a rock meets Dubstep sort of thing. I was with Pro Green in Ibiza and I played it to him and he really liked it, so what we're hoping is to get him on that track and to have it like a modern Run DMC versus AC/DC track."
